no type back from its yearly limbo!

you know us: once in a while, we stay a couple months off not updating the site, so as to get a break. uh, no, that’s a lame excuse. anyway.

the truth is, we haven’t been slacking off. no type was present in two festivals this year in montreal: suoni per il popolo in june & pop montreal in october. & that’s not counting the presence of morceaux_de_machines at victo in may as well as their european tour that followed.

& speaking of the morceaux… they are launching their sophomore no type CD very soon (to be precise, on november 20 in quebec city at salle multi). the beast is named Estrapade & it is quite scary indeed. really a great album full of dynamics & cathartic to an excess. every household should own its copy.

as for the next releases, a more regular rythm should return in the beginning of 2005 with the release from the trio of montreal-based analog psychedelic freaks (& near cult band) the unireverse. there’s more, but we ain’t tellin’ quite yet. soon, soon.
